The Project
MBK Cambridge (My Brother's Keeper) is a local nonprofit that supports young men of color in the Cambridge and Greater Boston Area, striving to disrupt and eradicate the chronic social, mental, economical, and educational barriers for youth, young adults, parents and caregivers.
I was reached out to by the co-founders to redesign their site and come up with a new brand identity while keeping the pillars of the organization in tact.
Clean. Easy to navigate. Aesthetically pleasing.

Scope of Work
Initial Design meeting
Style Guide revisions/approval
Content migration
Two rounds of edits
Final approval
Domain transfer from host site
Finally
Using content from the original site and more from the clients, I was able to create the site in Wix from scratch with the approved style guide and aesthetic.
The initial meeting with the client was mostly about look and feel along with the main pain points of their previous site. The main user is someone looking for more information on the organization or a possible donor.
Taking that into consideration, I was able to condense the content from the previous site into a more concise and user friendly experience.
